Remember what people want online is INFORMATION. If you start by offering good quality info that gives valuable insight that serves as a solution to the problems that people are having, you can then monetize that exposure but not until you do a little giving first. Good Content based on Good research of Keywords (what people are typing in their search engines) and solution to problems, then you can make a suggestion/refer them to a link that will pay you for sending a costumer to their affiliate program. For example....if you build a review site of different types of computers...you review dell, sony, apple...you join each company's affiliate program and they pay you if that person clicks to their site and makes a purchase. You can set up a website for less than the cost of a pizza, so if you have something to sell, do that. How to make people find your site is a whole different matter. That subject is called SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and is the way to make people come to your new cheap site and buy your good and services.
