It is when you have a feeling that you are experiencing something that you have already experienced----for example, standing in a place where you've never been and feeling like you've already been there. This feeling is frequently caused by a minor seizure.

This is a phenomena that just can not be explained, Deja vu is an experience/feeling that one experiences.
I believe that I have experienced Deja vu on a number of occasions. Where I feel like I have experienced the same thing over and over again. So to explain this phenomena to my self to make myself understand as to why I have done the same thing over and over again.
My religion is against the theory of reincarnation, but how else do I explain Deja vu if I have experienced Deja vu then surely reincarnation must exist for me to experience my life over and over again.

déjà vu (paramnesia), literal translation from french is "seen before" or "already seen", it's when you feel familiar with a scene, an object, a face, etc...like you've seen this before but don't know exactly from where you get this impression. many things have been said concerning déjà vu the one i find more reasonable (because everything has a logical explanation) is that "images from one eye are delayed, arriving in the brain microseconds after images from the other eye causing a sensation that something was being seen for the second time." but then, i am reading right now that a blind man claims to have experienced déjà vu ! thanks for asking this question, i've just learned something new !

When something occurs and you detect you have felt the pattern before if not the exact incident. It feels good somehow.

It is past events occurring all over again in exact detail. Such occurrences are often uncontrolled and very unpredictable.
