I`ve been listening that some web sites and tv shows say they are huge when they become syndicated but I have no idea of what does that mean so I would love to know.

When a TV show goes into syndication, the shows are aired on local channels at all times of the day.

As opposed to shows on a network, like Lost, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, etc., syndicated shows are sold directly to the local TV stations in each market (TV viewing area). That is why a syndicated show might show up on a local NBC channel in one area, yet on an ABC channel in another.

syndicated means they are made available to all tv stations as opposed to being on a specific network. normally a show must air 100 episodes to become successful in syndication.
