I remembered this movie and it was nice. SIMONE is actually a hologram, created by a one of the guy Al Pacino met in the movie, can't remember his name. He created the program as he was a big fan of Al. SIMONE is actually an acronym for the program. Al Pacino's character created SIMONE as a combination of several personalities and also acts as her 'voice'. SIMONE became too popular and Al Pacino had to end her career by staging a great last performance.

yeah the actress is real..her name is rachel roberts..i think it would be incredibly difficult if they created her in the movie as well. =)
