i'm so confused about cm and ovulation. my lmp was 1/17 i didn't really have any discharge and than on 1/31 i had whitish yellow creamy discharge (not thick, more milky), than the next day it was watery than i dried up for the next few days and than on the 5th, i got egg white discharge. than it seemed for a few days i dried up again, but than all of a sudden i got a lot of discharge, and it seemed as if my hips were getting bigger (haha) on the 14th and than i was supposed to get my period on the 17th. didn't happen and than i started cramping and getting emotional/sore nipples... took a pregnancy test on the 19th and bingo, i'm pregnant.

i just wanted to get some peoples opinions as to when you think i actually ovulated...

The days when your discharge was like egg whites. That is the mucus that helps the sperm stay healthy and "swim". You can search online for "due date calendar" it will tell you when you ovulated/conceived based on either your due date or LMP. It will probaly say sometime around the 31st through the 3rd. If you are concerned about the baby's father based on timing, go get an ultrasound early, they are very accurate on letting you know when you conceived.

Typically, the cervical fluid closest to ovulation will be the most like raw egg white. That is the most fertile CF. HOwever, some women have EWCF that begins to dry up a couple of days before ovulation and sometimes it can stick around after a thermal shift indicates ovulation. Sometimes you can have a cycle of your own that is very different from the others too. THat is one of the reasons I really like the temperature cross check when I am seriously avoiding or TTC. It helps cross check the CF sign so I can more reliably date ovulation.

Congratulations!!

I certainly felt soreness for the time of ovulation and such as you pronounced painful cramps yet in basic terms for an hour or so. I additionally had greater cervical mucus and a different type to something of the month. i'm 20 weeks pregnant now and that i conceived final time I felt that soreness.

firstly congratulations!!! my ovulation and cervical mucus didn't match at all this time round... i also ovulated really late(day 25) and bingo as well i tested positive on the 18th... not sure whats going on ...but i would say that you actually got pregnant around the fifth(as in fertilization occured)... either way the officials take your dating for pregnancy as the first day of your last period! when you have your scan they should be able to give you a more accurate date... as in the first twelve weeks all babies develope at the same rate... so i have not been much hepl. and good luck
