It seems they’re obsessed with their cricketers when I saw a TV segment after they were beaten by Bangladesh!! Why don’t they have the heart and love the game only??? Because all games teaches us to take winning and losing graciously right but I saw the Indians just depressed and blaming the cricketers for not doing this and that. Why is this??? One more thing, it seems they were totally Ok when Sachin didn’t play his part but it is just the others fault!!!

I want to go into more deep than what one can see superficially.
Indian political leadership encouraged the game Cricket to take hold of the job of keeping its various type of population unified. They have something like 26 states which are tied down with patriotic zeal, and cricket plays the major role in unifying India.
This may not sound like a serious observation, but sadly it is true that the Indians have been made to believe that their country is superior since they are great in this and that events, be it cricket, engineering faculty, information technology, medical science etc.
There are many countries in the world that can easily rival India in its development that it has achieved since its independence in 1947. But the Indians are deliberately given the opium-dose by the administration of cricket mania.
Now we can see the result when the Indians are stoning or burning the houses of fall-guys of cricket whenever someone performs below their expectations.
Similar mania has been seen in Pakistan too. So it is no wonder that the political leaders of these two neighboring countries are one of the worst offenders of sowing hatred in the psyche of its people against its neighbors. They take cricket like religion by default, for above mentioned reason.
What a waste of time and money as well as corrupting millions of innocent citizen's minds and making them arch-enemy for generation after generation!

Most of Indian fans beleive in supperstition & they expect players to will every game just because they were blessed.
They need to understand that Cricket is a sport

because thats all they have. thats something they are good at worldly. something they are better than a worldsuper power such as britian. beating the other countries around them in cricket is like establishing dominance as a better people and better country. for example, beating pakistan in cricket is like winning the war.
