Sounds like it to me. I would sure be careful bending over in front of him if I were you. . . . .unless you are into that kind of thing

Have you not heard the expression that if you're going to lie down with dogs you're going to get fleas? I think it's using you to get more expensive food or perhaps it just wants to move into your bed so it can in time kick you out and then you're in the doghouse! Hey don't say I didn't warn you!

I think the question is, do YOU want to take the relationship further?

It does not mean anything. It is dog's instinct to slip his tongue especially if you show that you are happy to have it as your pet and they it is being loved. Pets especially cats and dogs can really be considered as best pal even until their death.

hmmm....I think he does but dogs sleep around so you'll probably get some weird disease....and I'm sure he couldn't do the things you need him to do.....but from your avatar I'd say he's one lucky dog...he can watch you change, take baths, sleep in the same bed and get too close but you still love him.....that's the life!

Terrier ? they are the experts at sneaking in "little nips" and tongues when you think ya just gonna get a doggie kiss.

Just take it one day at a time. Don't rush the dog - it might scare him away if he thinks you're too clingy.

It's time to get out of the house and get some fresh air.

I think you should just keep things at heavy petting...if you don't want him to slip you the tongue, stop putting his milk bones in your mouth.
