She's bright and had the ability to do the job, but her attitude was deplorable. She was emotional and ranted openly about people. It got so bad, I talked to my boss that I was going to take my materinity leave 2 months early! To prevent me leaving early, he told me in strict confidence that complaints were already brought up to the senior management team and she wasn't going to pass her 3 month probation. She'd be put on a monthly rolling contract until she improves or she'd be let go. She'd be given written examples of her unacceptable behaviour and list of areas of improvement.
Long story short, she literly walked off the job with no warning a few weeks after her review. When she left, I was given access to check her emails to see work she left hanging. She was ranting to a vendor contact! I guess she needed a new outlet. She also felt how my company tried to rectify her behaviour was illegal based on her lawyer brother.
