Ie its not they do what you want and suck up to you when you are strong.

But how others try and protect you when you are weak and vunerable, especailly strangers.

Examples...

who got the respect at the end of the movie Norbit?

the bullies or Norbit? when the whole town risked themselves to look after the guy who treated them right.

Like in Spiderman 2 when he saves the trains passengers and exahsted the trains crowd tried to protect him knowing they were risking their lives and scared and still did it.

or say in Sparticus when at the end all his followwers were willing to take his place and die by torture on a cross to protect their hero.

Or similar real life situations.

Its not when you are strong people resopect you but when others protect their leader even though that leader may have punished them for their own good and made them work hard

Why dont these reapsect seeking gang types understand nobody respects you as you are strong, the real test is if they stick up for you and are willing to rick themselves for their leader when you are down, weak and vunerable

Sorry, the issue of Rosa Parks was not "getting off the bus" - it was she refused to MOVE TO THE BACK OF THE BUS so that a white lady could have her seat. She would have been forced to stand. The rule then was, as a black, you entered the bus through the front, dropped your coins in; got off the bus and walked to the back door. There was an 'invisible' line that separated whites and blacks however, if there were available seats in the black section, you were forced to get up and give the whte person your seat. Mrs. Parks refused to give her her seat. Respect is one of the 6 pillars of character and first you must have respect for yourself before you can offer it to others. The rule of thumb the gangs play by is a self-imposed respect. It's not carried throughout the mentality because many of them could care less about respecting any one outside their group.

I have no idea what you are *talking* about and do not understand one word of it. Please rephrase the statement.
