I would not worry about overweight at 4 weeks old. A chubby baby looks healthier anyhow. Even if she gets chuncky she will thin out as she starts getting mobile.

And thats very good advice. In my family we feed the babies till they fall asleep. Some babies suckle in their sleep so you might want to get a paci for that as to not over feed the baby and/or choke the baby.

Well your baby has a stomach of a size of a walnut. If she eats to much she will throw up only because she is full. She still can't tell she is full. She is wanting to suck because it soothes her. Try giving her a pacifier.

it is only because you know exactly how much she eats that you think it is too much.what if you were breastfeeding, you would have to trust your baby that she knows when she's had enough-that is what i am doing.if she is a healthy baby, happy and gaining weight, let her eat as much as she wants.babies do know when to stop, when their tummy is full.

Please follow your doctor's advice! Babies are born with the ability to know how much they need to eat. Please feed her when she is hungry and she will grow up knowing when to say when and will be healthy.
