Crossing an ocean i have done, a continent I have done, traveled halfway around the world, i have done, and still i wonder, has it been enough....and what could i do to top it?
I paint with words......it is my most raw manner of expression, and once out there I am helpless to hold anyone from criticism.......I can only thank wordsmiths like Dylan for aiding me in the songs I don't write, and my mother for giving me words at he age of 3......rose petals in a pocket, tickets to an event for my S.O., autographed first editions of books from fave authors, but if i old, a magic carpet to see the world soaring over the cities with the wind , cutting through clouds and starlight together holding each other watching star fall and feeling the warmth of closeness....yes,,.....that is my reply...wow.....thanks.

Years ago my daughter-in-law had to answer that question and she came to me for advice I told her as follows where you
goest I shall go exctra---Well she had just delivered a baby and was afraid of flying all the way to Japan where her husband
was stationed, but fly she did, and I applaud myself for my marvelous advice, because if I were in her shoes I never could have done it, and she had another young baby to tend to also.
I still think she's a great lady for that, because I knew how frightened she was,and in order to back her up and not let her
know how terrified I WAS I acted like it was going to be a piece of cake, but it's a whole lot of hours from the US to the land of the rising sun, and through her tears and fears she
crossed the ocean to be with the man she loved!
How romantic!

Absolutely not too big. I too would cross any oceans or travel to the end of the earth if I know I would meet my sould mate. Just have not found him yet.

I wouldn't even take the city bus to go see him, if he can't come over or come pick me up, ah, forget about it, I'd stay at home.
I used to be like you though, I would go out in the middle of the night in a cab all by myself to hook up with someone, my mother hated it, or I would get on a plane to go see him (it happened once).

For me I would travel from the beginning of time to the end just for a chance to meet that special one.

I totally agree, couldn't agree more. The Ocean is a challenge, not an impossibility...
I'm gonna do it.

I don't know who my soul mate is. But if I did, I probably would do the same.
