I'm 13 and I have twin-daughters(3 months old).Their names are Emma and Amber.I call them Emy and Amy.Is it OK to call Amber - Amy?

It's OK to call your child whatever you want.Emma and Amber are very cute names and you can call them Emy and Amy.Amy from Amber is OK - you get the first two letters.Go on:)

Okay my daughters names are Abbey and Emily, Abbey gets ab and Emily gets emmy Amber to me has nothing to do with Amy, Amy is a completley different name.and emy is normally short for emily not emma but at the end of the day I dont think in your case what you call them really matters as long as you tell them evey day for the rest of your life how much you love them Also how would you feel if emma or amber came to you at 12 and told you that they were pregnant?

Wow 13 with twins im 22 with 1 kid i dont know how ur coping with 2 but never mind that yeh amy is fine have to admit sounds better than calling her amb :)

It isn't a matter of whether or not it is okay. I won't get Amy from Amber, but you know lots of people who don't go by their given names or any name that is even drived from their name. Call them any sweet name you wish.

I think, being 13 and having twins, this should be the least of your concerns. It doesn't matter what you call them (except unappropriated names of course) but how you treat them! Good luck being so young with not only one baby, but two!
