yahoo e-mail says it's on questions page and says action bar but I don't see it

part of the question preview screen gives you the option of being notified by mail when answers are posted if you didnt check it in your profile info, its easiest just to edit your profile and do it there, that way its done once and for all, i hope this helps

Try going to home, or fix your profile somehow. There should be a check box or something.
