You will get plenty of those red bumps if you use a razor down there. You should try using an electric shaver.

Although I'm a girl I do deal with the same issue.

It's a sensitive and delicate part of the body. Even the skin. It's razor burn and/or ingrown hairs (though the one can also lead to the other in any order).

I've heard a lot of suggestions and tried products to prevent it and help it once it's there. Exfoliating does help. a build up of dead skin cells can make the razor bump and dig in where you don't want it to. Shaving with the growth helps too. Going against the growth forces the hair to push up the skin surrounding it making it more vulnerable to the razor. If, after shaving, your skin is sore down there, and there are inflamed bits, neosporin is amazing. Just shave the night before the event you are shaving for, sleep with neosporin on your tender bits, and wash it off the next day. Redness, bumps, and inflammation are greatly reduced if not completely gone.

Also, don't shave it frequently. Give your skin time to heal or it'll just be worse. Male or female most of us shave something. We have all dealt with razor burn and can certainly deal with a little stubble in our partners interest.

Those bumps as either ingrown hairs or razor burn. A friend of mine found Cetaphil is a good thing to use in place of shaving cream.

Use shaving Clippers

Men and women get those red itchy bumps.

It's your hair growing back, and some being ingrown.

My question is why would you want to do that?

It's there for a reason, you know. ;)
