Offensively, I went for the well-rounded guys that do a little bit of everything. Guys like Sizemore, Hanley, Johnny Damon... great speed, scores a lot of runs, good power.

How do you guys think I did?

I think haren and lackey are both overated. Nomar is a question mark. You could use some more speed. You did okay but keep your eyes on the waiver wire

Overall, I would say you did very well. Of course, it depends whether you play in a head-to-head or a rotisserie league. Starting with your position players, you have drafted several 5-tool players that combine power with speed and average. Solid at most positions, except for third base. You could play Kendrick at second and move Sanchez to third, but typically third base is a power position and Sanchez is more of a contact hitter. As far as pitching, strong at the closer position and obviously you have the best #1 starter. A little weak at the back of the rotation. Might want to package up some of your bench players and trade for one or two starters. Keep Santana, Lackey, and Haren as your top three starters.

hitting is a lot greater significant than pitching while it includes drafting. hitters have a tendency to stay greater healthy than pitchers do. any little factor might desire to sideline a tumbler for a whole season, so which you dont desire to draft a tumbler that top and function a wasted %.. i might seek for a suited teir pitcher around the 5th around. closers i does no longer draft untill very late in the draft. it sort of feels that a majority of closers the two get injured or replaced throughout the time of the 12 months. this isn't any longer rather worth taking severe draft choosing on closers. scower the ww durring the season and %. up the adult males that are going to alter into closers throughout the time of the 12 months.

Not a bad team 6.5 possible 7 if Nomar stay healthy and some of the pitching improves or match last year's numbers.

Johan was not the best 1st round pick for you but you did very well by picking people like Freddy Sanchez who hit over .320 lat season late in the round.
