There, that is the form of a question.

Someone sent me some mail saying that I should not be so upset about a certain avatar "because kids should not be in this section anyway, if they are old enough to be here, they already know about biology."

Well, once again, people do not think thing all the way through.

When you ask a question, it, and your avatar, does not only appear here, it also appears on "Entertainment and Music" and on the main page.

Kids, some quite young, come here for homework help and other things, and while they may not come to Polls and Surveys, they can still be assulted by an obscene avatar.

I know I should ignore this, but I thought I would remind everyone that what goes on here, can be seen elsewhere.

I agree about the kids and also I really don't want to see it either. Its not just a dirty picture its electronic-flashing. That guy is getting off on exposing himself to others. Yahoo holds and checks questions from users who have had violations before they post them. I think if they don't start preventing this kind of prevented posting they are going to face pressure from governments.

According to yahoo community guidelines a person 13 years of age can have their own account while exposing your genitalia to a person under 15 years of age is a class b felony. I have sent my first complaint to the RCMP I have not finished. I don't care if yahoo answers gets removed. They can moniter because they do. Many people have hade violations for stupid reasons.

There is no reason what so ever for a pornographic Avatar. It is done for shock value only. I report them if I see them(the only thing I have ever reported). They are not only absolutely disgusting and wrong for the kids to see but adults don't want to se them either. The one I reported was two men and one was giving the other a bj. It was sick and YA let it ride for several hours before doing anything about it. I agree 100% that they should monitor and remove pornographic Avatars and material.

Here in Europe nudity isn't a big deal, real porn is different but just a dick? Hey, all men got them, it's just part of the anatomy. Kids really aren't going to be scarred for life knowing what a dick looks like.

only in America is nudity such a big deal, Europeans all think we're perverts and prudes (they're right) i agree we have to protect children but if you think 9/10 year olds don't already know about sex and nudity you're very naive. kids are maturing very early and know far more than they should. personally until you're 15/16 you shouldn't have access to a computer without supervision.
