in a atomic bomb a neutron is bombarded with uranium as a result the uranium atom splits into one barium atom,Kr atom and a neutron ,the process goes on and when a large mass is formed the bomb blasts

An atomic bomb works by nuclear fission, a neutron is colided with a radioactive neucleus and when it split it releases energy, the cycle continues.
