As of the last few days my steering wheel has been shaking in town when i'm going from 20km to about 70-80. It wobbles back and forth and since i got the vehicle i've noticed when making sharper turns its like the tire catches on the pavement a little and you can hear it scrape but nothing major. As of the last month i have been driving on alot of gravel if that makesa difference.
Should I immediately get this checked. what is it??

three things are likeily the cause--okay five things. bent wheel, tire not balanced, tread seperation in the tire, bad c/v joint or wheel bearing, or worn ball joints . Yes, have checked out immediately; before something major happens and someone is hurt or killed.

Sounds like your ball joints may be in need of replacing. You can either do this yourself if your mechanically inclined or you can take it to a pro to get it done. Another cause also might be because the tie rod could also be messed up. You may want to consider taking the vehicle back to it's previous owner and getting them to either give you your money back or have them pay for the repair as it can be quite expensive. If they refuse to do anything about it, then u might have grounds to take them to court as in many states it is illegal to sell a car that has safety issues like this. Whatever happens, DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR UNTIL IT GETS REPAIRED OR U COULD HAVE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT!!!!

It sounds like your alignment is off. Yes, you definitely should get it checked out as the longer it goes, the more damage it's going to do. If you're hearing a scraping sound, that could also indicate that two pieces of metal are rubbing together and that's always a bad thing.

It could be a ruined tire, a bent tie-rod end, a bad shock, bad alignment of the front end, or several other things. I would take your car to a qualified mechanic to have it looked over.

Most likely a bad tire(s). Also it could be a brake rotor that is warped from exsessive heat or age. Get the tires checked first.

Most likely an unbalanced tire or bad alignment, take it to a tire shop and they'll sort it out either way.

Could be a busted ball joint/tie rod. possibly bad tire(s) or something as simple as a need for front end alignment.
