first about that nurse: some one with that kind of attitude is suffering from an inferiority complex which they try to camouflage by such an attitude. they draw consolation about their own inadequacies by constantly tryng to find fault in others. basically they are try to heal their own wounds caused by their own inadequacies which they are too proud or too arrogant to admit. they might even be suffering from bad relationship in their personal lives.
your side: you judge your self with what others and especially such critics say about you. you are unsure about your own self and doubt your own qualities /competence. it is natural.
solution: believe in your self. no matter how much she criticises you "DO YOUR OWN THING". EAT , DRESS , TALK AS IT PLEASES YOU.
be polite to her but do not eevr admit to her that what her assessment about you , you agree with it. try to avoid her nasty comments. brush aside her talks and comments as if they are of no importance. and be cheerful.
when she sees what she is doing is hardly affecting you after some time she would just quit.

Really, Just tell your co-worker how you feel, that you don't appreciate the comments, and you would prefer them not to be made.
