lying about your grades, or things like that?
i had to lie about my courses. i'm actually doing a master course that's completely different than my bachelor degree (accounting). i told them i'm actually doing master of business, majored in accounting.
has anyone done this before?

i do this because i don't want them to think i have no sense of direction. well, which is partly true because i didn't want to do accounting anymore but then i don't want to waste a 3 yrs degree.

Basically, when I lie about anything (be it my grades, my achievements at work, or about some other factual details), I am implying that I am smart and the employer is Stupid! Wellllll, sometimes I got away, sometimes I got caught and was thrown out, and every time when the truth got revealed.....sooner or later.........it really hurt me hardest !
Honesty , even TODAY, is still the best Policy!
When I am honest, I dont have to keep track of the lies that I need to say to cover up the lies that I told! I can sleep peacefully, and tell the truth even if I was suddenly woken up and asked in the middle of the night.

I think everyone tells little white lies. Especially in regards to past employment. However, just know if you lie, you may be found out later and that is grounds for termination.

Nope, where I live they will hire you no matter what. Anyways, instead of lying, just don't tell the whole truth.
