i remember watching this movie when i was young (maybe 9 or something, im 21 now)
anyway it was really cheesy. i think it took place in the sky.. like in the clouds...
i think it might have been an 80s movie... the character's costumes reminded me of david bowie..
but i remember alot of pinks and pastels as colors...
and the main thing about it is the "bad guys" win... they kill the main hero....
i think there was something about a ring in it too...
i know im not being much help here.... sorry
but anyone with ANY ideas i would be so thankful.

no its not the Everything Story.. i have that on dvd, lol....
i THINK it was much more adult.

not a lot to go on, and there was a plethora of crappy 80's movies. I don't readily recall a movie with pastels, in the sky, with the hero being killed... and I am a complete SF junkie. Maybe Flash Gordon but he definitely didn't get killed.

Maybe the Neverending Story? Not sure though because the hero doesn't die.

possibly millenium with cheryl ladd, it's a time travel film. where they go back in time to take people off planes that are about to crash, because humanity can no longer breed.
