I think your goldfish has a swim bladder problem, does she float up side down after she has been fed? If so try using blood worm or daphnia to feed her and this might help her.. You could try using 1/2 oz of cooking salt (not table salt) to the gallon - dissolve it first and put in over 12 hours. Take out all live plants, this will help any stress your fish might be suffering from. Goldfish are egg bearers and you will need a randy male to chase her if she is carring eggs. She will look a rounder fish than she normally does but will swim normally and feed normally when she is egg bound

Goldfish don't get prgegnant, they lay eggs. Your fish has a swim bladder problem, possibly caused by an internal bacterial infection. You should try treating with antibiotics.

The goldfish will be swollen around the bottom area and will tend to hide in the aquarium plants.
