I believe it is A. RNA's are a product of transcription for sure, since DNA is transcribed into RNA, however i do not believe a new strand of DNA is created in response to this. When DNA is unraveled from each other to allow for Transcription to take place it is then re-annealed (to my knowledge). Only time a new strand of DNA is made is during chromosome duplication (mitosis). Their are other times when DNA is replicated, such as in DNA repair and what not, however this most likely has nothing to do with transcrption..
