Intelligence is just like the weather and the economy, it lags behind a little. Everyone knows December has the shortest day of the year but the coldest month is January/February. The Clinton administration, however, had 8 years, I repeat 8 years, to gather intelligence (while dismanteling the military and CIA), and briefed Pres. Bush when leaving office. I say it is the Dedmocratic party that failed and handed Bush this mess to clean up.

Watch all the Democrats admit their involvement, including Hillary Clinton:

Hypocrites is the term for the democratic party.

You are all so blind by hate, you can't see the truth when it is right in front of your eyes.

BTW... Any of you want to go to work for me? I could use some staff that have no clue and I can pay cheap. And if you complain... I'll promote the guy next to you so that everyone is equal and happy.

I'm in Iraq right now, and this isn't about blaming anyone, but I do agree that it is irresponsible to attempt to rewrite history. Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Bill in 1998, but no one ever mentions that in any protest. I thought from the beginning that we should have bombed the hell out of everything and then rebuilt. It would have been much faster, but we decided to go the PC route, which simply takes longer.

President Bush also said in the beginning that this would be a slower process than America is used to, so I don't see why people are upset now that it's taken this long, especially since we've been in Bosnia well past the December '96 deadline for withdrawal.

so... what are you blaming Clinton for... Iraq now? you try to blame him for 9-11 too?

handed him what mess? the same mess HW handed Clinton?

you make no real points... just talk about how intelligence is like the weather... cry about Clinton dismantling the military and CIA... but you never say WHAT the actual issues in detail you are you're crying about?

intelligence failures of 9-11?

intelligence failures in Iraq? (which seems to be what the video is about?)

the issue here is that we went to war over wrong reasons... we can either fix it... or keep fighting a war waged on false reasons in the middle of someone's civil war?

and neither HW or Clinton was STUPID enough to attack Iraq... due to the reasons that Bush Sr. stated in his book... mainly the blatant destability of both Iraq and the middle east if you do attack... yet W. Bush pushed everyone has hard as he could to war...

and it sounds like you already have management down... find the most gullible people you can... and make them work as long and hard as you can... the stupider America is... the richer you are...

Read "See No Evil" by Robert Baer. He was a CIA agent and I hate to burst your bubble but the CIA was gradually dismantled since the Reagan era. Since the end of the cold they were viewed as no longer necessary and throughout the Bush era they were used as information gatherers for possible exploitation of new oil fields in the countries that were part of the former Eastern Bloc and Soviet Union!

The blogbaba engages in the liberal vs conservative or the Democrat vs Republican arguments in an effort to educate those poor misguided people in the U.S. who cling to the mistaken belief that there is a difference between the two parties. The Federal government as a whole is a tool of corporate interest, they have long since delegated actual "governing" of the population of the United States to the State governments. The unfortunate results are obvious.

Also it's fun to bluntly state the truth to people who are either:

1.) intentionally obtuse

2.) ignorant

3.) stupid

or 4.) attempting to propagate ignorance and confusion.

Stop helping the elitist scum who are destroying this country by intentionally (or unintentionally) sowing the seed of discord among the American people. All Americans must understand that their way of life is threatened, and political affiliation is a minor issue when faced with the destruction of our way of life. The Federal government is no longer "by the people for the people", it hasn't been since Reagan, and it's not a Democratic or a Republican issue, it's an American issue. The Democrats and Republicans sold us out two decades plus ago.

Sorry to give it to you straight, but while we argue, the U.S. is going the way of the dinosaurs.

Clinton did furnish Bush with all pertinent intelligence reports on the Middle East at the time of the Bush presidency, but it was ignored. That was another lie led by Condie Rice and her spin-control tactics. Again, Clinton has been out of office for 6 yrs. It's time that the failed Bush administration take all the major blame for all its failures and mistakes. If Bush didn't feel as though he was capable of taking care of "this mess to clean up" he shouldn't have run for president in the first place. He had no foreign policy experience, at all, didn't know most of the world leaders by name or never met them face-to-face, and his primary mission, as proven by US intelligence documents, was to finish Daddy Bush's conquest of Iraq. Hypocrites? I would answer that by calling the Republicans, "Shysters".

I agree with you, Clinton had 8 years of information and he did brief Pres. Bush when he left office. And Pres.. Bush got his own intelligence information. Pity HE did not act on them.

Are dems also guilty that he is illiterate and incompetent? Or that he is a violent drunk? Or a coward who went AWOL but enjoys sending thousands to die? But imagine if dems had taken care of all those problems - what then? How would the bush & the dick steal all this money from the federation to pour it into ttheir companies? Besides, remember it was republicans who trained and equipped Osama, and it's probably republicans who is hiding and who was protecting him now and during the Clinton era.
