Lick your nails

2007-03-18 20:11:13 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 1

I have gotten out nail polish stains on my carpet, couch, clothing and counter using the Magic Eraser. My 2 year old loves to get into my nail polish no matter how out of reach I think it is. She runs all over the house with the open bottle. I thought my $5000 couch was totally ruined until I got out the Magic Eraser. If you use thinner on those types of things it will stain around it and sometimes doen't get the whole stain out anyway. You can pick one up at almost any grocery store. Hope this helps you.

If it is on your hands or nails then use Nail polish remover on a Q-tip if it is on furniture or clothing, Spilled nail polish

Allow to almost dry, then peel off of waxed floors or tile.
Nail polish

Sponge with polish remover or banana oil. Wash. If stain remains, sponge with denatured alcohol to which a few drops of ammonia have been added. Wash again. Do - not use polish remover on acetate or triacetate fabrics.

Good Luck !
