I do really wish that she does win a slam more, but the odds are horribly against her. The US Open would have been her best bet, but it is unclear whether she will continue playing at all after marrying Bryan Lynch in July. Add to that her withdrawal from the French Open, and her chances are practically zero. The only slam left is Wimbledon, where she has never even made a final before, and with increasing losses to Amelie, Maria and Justine, and the revival of the Williams siblings will almost certainly make the job near impossible for her. But she can go on to win a few more tournaments before closing a chapter in her life. At just 23 years, she has probably won more titles (34) than any other player won at that age, except Hingis, Seles and Graf.
Anyway, I certainly don't care about her winning any more. She is a very nice person, and not winning titles won't make her any less nice. And she does have one record to her credit, being the nicest player on tour, and that is probably better than winning a 100 grand slam titles.

Kim Clijsters introduced that the 2012 London Olympics would be her final journey, so i think of she's merely going to play 7 greater majors. i think of Clijsters will win 2 greater majors: 2011 Wimbledon and yet another in 2012 (Wimbledon or Aussie). next 300 and sixty 5 days hasnt befell yet so I cant make that kinda prediction @Mai - 2010 already befell XD

She will not and as far as I can tell, she doesn't really care if she does or not. She just announced she will likely skip the US Open. She is also skipping Roland Garros. Those are her absolute best bets to win a major. She is not, nor has she ever been, a great grass court player so I don't get why she thinks she is a major contender at Wimbledon. She is like my 6th pick to win Wimbledon. She has almost no shot.
But if that's the only one left that she's playing then she is likely not gonna get a 2nd slam and go down in history as possibly the most talented one-slam wonder.

As much as i hate to say it, no she will more then likely not, she is not playing French Open, and she is not even going to play The US OPEN, you know what she is a very great person, but really she is not thinking much about the fans who want to see her at these key events,,, she is too amped tokick start her marriage, wedding, etc... in a way she is in too much of a rush... i think Kim Clijsters on the whole tour is the most disapointing player for the power an athletic capablitites she has.. remeber back in 2005 she lost to lindsay Davenport at the French Open 4th round, and in the wimbledon 4th round.. to me that is terrible, even though davenport was playing almost her best tennis in 05, clijsters is a way better athlete and can play better then davenport... that really bugged me in 2005..

I hope so. If she can regain the consistency that saw her win the US Open then she should do well. Really her only problem has been whether she can maintain consistency when she hits such big powerful shots. She has the skills, but she just needs to maintain consistency. However there are other players who are looking hotter at the moment like Serena, Henin, Mauresmo and Sharapova.

No. Her hearts not in it. The only thing she's worried about is getting ready for her wedding, settling down and becoming a house wife.
I don't think she's being fair to her fans at all. Some farewell tour shes doing. She's hardly played this year.

It does not seem like she is totally into it mentally this year. It seems like she is already making her retirement and baby plans already. As much as I would like to see her grab another major this year before she hangs them up for good , do not think that she will. She is such a nice women you can't but hope I am wrong and she does.

i hope she does but it's very unlikely. i think she's really given up and set her eyes on raising a family. she's not the williamses. unlike venus and serena who can go on without playing and win their first tournament....the other players like clijsters need a lot of practice before going into bigger tourneys to really get their "groove" going.

It's tough to say, but it could go like this:
No - she would have other priorities, focused on her plans and loss of motivation and not fully hunting for titles.
Yes - she is more relaxed and even if she's ranked very high, she has nothing to lose as she will be retiring.

No i don't think so, she is skipping Roland Garross and she said that she is not sure if she will play the U.S open, so that only leaves wimbledon and she is not a favorite to win on grass. i wish she would play the U.S open though b/c thats where should could possibly win.
