Can I get one of the heartbeat things from walmart and be able to hear it? I know that people have said that you cant hear much with it unless you are farther along, but seeing as I lost twins in my first pregnancy I would like to keep an eye on this baby between dr appts. With my daughter I got to go to the dr alot because of this, but the dr does not seem so worried this time becaus I have had a healthy pregnancy and birth.

Do you think that "bebe sounds" thing would work for me?

You should be able to hear at about 25 weeks with the Bebe sounds one.. You can look online and find a doppler like the one at the docs office. Might cost more but I was freaked out during my pregnancy cuz I was soo sick I thought I would miscarry so I got one. But the sounds are very different.

Yes, it should work for you. But, the sound you are listening for is not the same as you hear on the doppler at the doctor's office. It is harder to hear using the Bebe Sounds, but they do work.

The doc is most often right! But, get a stethoscope, if you must, and you might listen to the heart of the babe in the womb!

It may not work quite yet. It will work better as junior gets bigger, it should work but don't freak if you can't find the baby's hearbeat with it for a few weeks.

I tried all those and none worked as well as the Ultrasound at the doctors office.
