under 1? sounds like a malfunctioning noobulator, or maybe just low nooby fluid due to a loose noob cap.

if it a 4 cylinder, that just happens. IE four banger.
4 cylinder engines just do that because only one cylinder is trying to drive the other three and at low engine speeds there momentum doesn't cancel out the vibration.

If it bothers you pop the hood and there should be a little screw that is on the side of the throttle body where the gas pedal cable ends, turn it until the vibration settles down. But while this get rid of the vibration it will probably increase your idle to 1200 rpms.
The other thing is if it is about to stall from the vibrating, the idle might be set to low do the first option and raise it a little or you might just have other problems.
Another thing running things that use the engine power, A/C for example puts more strain on the engine and make the vibration a little worse.

By one I think you mean 1000rpm. A car usually idles at between 700-800rpm when it is at operating temperature. During the warm up period the motor should idle higher than this...depending on the car around 1400rpm.

So you said when you first start the car idle is under 1000rpm. this sounds too low to me. Spark plugs are not the problem. The carburettor or fuel injection system needs adjustment probably...but before you do anything make sure the air filter is clean.

Changing your spark plugs will also help this too. If the spark plugs get all gummed up and nasty, it could cause it to not idle right.

CO2 sensor might be slightly malfunctioning, but nothing serious, keep an eye on it though.

i'd say your buddy does no longer be conscious of his corporation. moist spark plugs, what ever meaning, ought to dry and be effective. Your buddy has screwed up something even as engaged on automobile. the first signal of undesirable spark plugs should be a verify engine mild with misfire code.

all of these are good answers and they could very well be the answer, but i would adjust the idle switch that is under the hood it might just be that it is idled to low and after it warms up the idle is set to where it almost goes dead.

it wouldnt hurt but more than likely your timing is a little off it all depends on what year car you have do you have a distribtor or coil pac cause the bolt on the distribtor comes loose some times and it will turn so that could be a problemb i would suddjest a full tune up first

If you are using the airconditioner, probably that sensor which makes your engine rev higher when you turn the ac on is busted or the screw in/out may just need adjustment.

take the plugs out and look at them before you go spending lots of $$$ but always replace wires rotor and cap with them if the car is older and has them

I would start by checking the bumper fluid and the headlight oil. Then look for a bad motor mount,a vacuum leak,a compression test and possible gremlins.
