I believe both major parties will have a field day throwing mud at each other. But for the sake of choosing one party, I think the Democrats will out do the GOP because they will have a larger field of candidates with wider differences of opinions. Plus the leading candidate is probably Sen. Clinton. She also has most of the negatives and will be a lightening rod for all sorts of pot shots and criticism. Obama will be a target, too, since the media and everyone else will be out to look for trash. That's why I think the race will still be wide opened for anyone since the mudslinging may get alittle too thick.
