No, Jeb was a good governor, it's just that The public has soured on W. If Jeb were to run, he wouldn't be able to seperate himself effectively,so he will, and should wait until a later date. The democrats have never been a unified party, but they still win, and '08 looks to be favorable to their nominee at the moment. Mccain probably beats anyone he faces, but he's less attractive than the guy from '00, and Rudy is the same, but his numbers won't hold, and a nomination is in doubt. All the other GOP candidates either have serious issues, or lack of support. Hilliary's support is just deep enough to win, Obama can inspire enough people for victory, and Edwards, the third man down, is actually a really strong candidate. Everything depends on how things develop, but Jeb is not an option, as POTUS, or VP.

There wouldn't be a chance in Hell for Jeb to be elected in 2008 or 2012. The US has a case of Bushitis. In other words, they are sick because of W. and is very doubtful Jeb would be the cure we need.
