It depends on what the offending event was, what got you mad in the first place.
But,being the mature one and walking away is often the best revenge.

Be extremely kind to this person. People usually are cruel because they are looking for an equal reaction. Don't give them the satisfaction and they either feel stupid or remorse for treating you bad.
