That seems completly normal. I'm 23 weeks pregnant and my babys heartbeat is the strongest about 2 inches below my belly button. It all depends on where and how your little peanut is positioned.

The location of where you're hearing the heartbeat is not an exact indication of the fetal position, which can only be determined by a doctor or midwife. At 16 weeks, your uterus is halfway between your pubic bone and belly button, so the baby's right there.

At 20 weeks you should be able to feel your uterus just below your belly button, so I wouldnt worry about it... I wish I had a doppler so I could hear his little hear beating.....

that's no longer the newborn's heartbeat. until eventually 12 weeks, you may in undemanding words listen the pulse by trans-vaginal ultrasound. on the prompt the newborn is in the back of your pelvis, no longer close for your hip or abdomen section. the newborn's heartbeat is more beneficial speedy than yours. Congrats on your being pregnant!

Just means that that's where the doppler is picking it up the best or where junior is hanging out. No big, perfectly normal.
