I took an air conditioner out of an outside wall and need to fill the hole with something. I thought it would be neat to frame in a piece of stain glass. I'm not pickey about the colors. Anyone have one they would sell to me or know where I could get one at a reasonable price? Thanx!

Pat C is right.
Making one yourself would end up costing you less and it really is not that hard to make.
I don't know the style of your home
Idea No 1........... I don't know if you can find a window that size. but you can scour the old second hand/recycle shops,(you know, the kind that have old windows),you can even find them on the curb on garbage nights.
What you could do is to distress the found window into a really nice worn and weathered look for the frame for your custom made stain glass design.(instructions to follow).
Idea No.2............ If you cannot find a second hand window to fit those dimensions, or the style of your home is very modern,
you can make a frame yourself, then have a piece of glass cut to fit.

At the following sites you will find instruction and "How To" glass paint for free;

The best glass paint to use is from Delta or Pebeo Vitrail.
Plebeo and Delta are paints used specifically for glass.
Below is a link to where you can purchase it or you can buy your supplies at any Michaels Store, Hobby Shops or Art Stores (like Loomes and Tooles), most all of these places also carry "How To" Phamplets.

If you wanted the cheapest method of all you can use a medium which converts Latex,household or Acrylic paints for painting onto glass.

Idea No 3............ You could make a Mosaic and have a flood light illuminating your design, which would be beautiful as well.
If you want to do this, I have done many and can give you the least exspensive approach for executing this application.

Idea No.4.............you could use glass etching cream. It is permanent,the design is mapped out with tape and it is frosted where the cream is applied.
Elegant and Modern.

Check for "stain glass stores" in your local Yellow Pages. They sell the larger sized sheets of glass you are looking for. They would probably cut it to size for a nominal fee. Have you thought about making your own with stain glass paints? Look in your local craft store for the paints, liquid "lead", and patterns. You might enjoy making one , in a design that would fit the style of your room.
