Two months ago I met a man online and I feel he is the ONE for me and he is very interested in me. He wants to help me get out of this situation. I dont have money to move, but he is willing to help me and wants me to move in with him (but if this IS love I dont want to RUIN my chances). WHat should I do??

If your boyfriend is abusive and puts you down then why are you still with him??
Regardless of whether this new dude you've met is the ONE or not, you still need to get out of that situation your currently in. You don't deserve to be put down, maybe this is the opportunity you've been looking for?

It's very easy to get caught up in internet dating. You want to believe it is so real but honestly, you just dont know. It wouldnt be wise or productive to get involved with anyone else right now. Give yourself time to get over what has happened to you before. Have you broken the cycle of accepting domestic abuse? The next guy may be worst than the first. Be smart...you asked the question for a reason, you gut is trying to tell you something. Pay attention to it.
Reminder- People can be who they choose to be online and that may not necessarily be who they REALLY are. Be VERRRRRY CAreful!

You need to learn to be your own self, not just an extention of some guy. Maybe this guy seems better than the one your with, but that's just by comparison...Start fresh and clear the first one out of your thoughts before you hook up with another guy, maybe there are better ones out there...
You lived with your boyfriend for 5 years, it took that long to realize you need out, and all it got you was older,,,

I think you should break up with ur bf, and DO NOT move with the online dude, you never know what kind of person he is. If you're a teen, he may be some 40 year old pervert!!! You should watch 'To Catch A Predator' on NBC!!! BE CAREFUL!

leave your bf and try living on your own first. I'm sure you can find resources for abused women in your area. I probably wouldn't go as far as running away with the guy on the internet but maybe meet up first and see where it goes. You need to take care of you first before starting to take care of someone elses needs.

have you met this man yet?...be very careful of whom you meet off line...don't you have family that can help you get out of the situation you're in, if so, i'd do that before i'd move in with someone you really don't know all that well...just please be very carefull in your decision making
