setting up a provision shop in singapore?

hi,
i need to know roughly set up a grocecies provision shop or a mini handphone dealer shop in neighbourhood area near clementi or jurong area...
But any one could advise the required how much captial?
Do i need to hire a lawyer to do the documentation thing & paper works like company register number.. signboard, license.. etc etc.. totally dunno abt it. renovation works.. etc..

Cos i able to get a 30k loan at 5%. So i am still wondering i would be able to make it thru..
for eg, the goods payment, rental fee.. etc etc... any idea?
does 30K sufficent to survive? Or its too little to do it...

Go to a shop you fancy and think it is making money, ask them if they can sell the business to you. Ask the same questions 100 times to different people so you have a feel of the market you are going in to. In your living room, arrange your furniture so that it look like a shop with very little space. Do not sleep for next 12 hours. Take short pee breaks and eat in the same spot. Do it for 365 days except CNY holidays. Learn to speak hokkien. Learn to hold a conversation on 4D and toto for at least 1 hour everyday.
Once you master the basics, go see a lawyer to draft out the business acquisition.
