My friend from Mexico need Hola Santo to use when she makes tamales. I wanted to know what kind of spice this was and what kind of plant does it come from? I'd like to get seeds to grow some for her.

maybe you are referring to holly week wich is semana santa. it is like teh srping break period vacation in Mexico. Maybe you are referring to Santa Claus the hola santa means hello santa.

well hola = hello, or ola means wave, santa = holly but for a female santo its the male for holly, or maybe they talking about santa closs
