No it doesn't have any permanent effects. Basically because the phone is a compact device and shaking it cannot affect its configuration.
However if the phone starts ringing while the camera is on, the camera is disabled and you get to see calling screen so that you can answer the call. After you attend the call, the camera may or may not be restored when you end the call(depending on your phone model).
So basically, you cannot take pictures if you have an incoming call, you must attend or reject the call....
It will be a good idea to read the phone's manual to check for any issues

i'm sorry you dropped your digicam. Now you know why Canon coated that wrist strap - so that you'll not drop your digicam. i'd estimate there's a ninety 9.9999% chance your digicam is now a paperweight. the guaranty des no longer hide abuse from dropping or drowning your digicam. save you money and use it to purchase a clean digicam. I recommend the Olympus Stylus 850SW considering that its water-proof against 10' and wonder information to a 5' drop. you should nevertheless use the wrist strap inspite of the actuality that.

no, whn inventing phones w/ cameras the designers had ways oof preventing a vibration from hurting a phone. Tht was easy as the phone has no "moving parts"-such as hard drive
If u want to find out for yourself-
take your phone-shake it for like 15 mins and take a pic if its good thn nothin to worry bout.
now take your computer and shake it for like 20 sec- yeah doesnt work does it- u just killed the harddrive
