I don't know if you've seen Stigmata or Constantine. They are good thinkers when it comes to religion.

Also, try to get your hands on a copy of "Battle Royal" It is a Japanese film that is not distributed in the US. You'll have to get a bootleg, but it's worth it. A class of ninth graders are taken to an island and forced to participate in a "game" in which they must kill eachother off until only one child remains. They wear these computerized necklaces and if more than one kid is alive after three days, the necklaces blow up and kill them all. Talk about crazy!

i agree with the person who answered memento. i love that film. i just got the labyrinth dvd (with david bowie and a young jennifer connely). i had some serious flashbacks to my childhood. you could see how dated the effects are but they cleaned it up a bit for the dvd. the concept is still good, though. jim henson rocks.
