EX is the top model for Honda cars. Standard for EX: Moonroof, Premium cloth, etc. I haven't seen EX-R before, but I guess the R stands for racing. EX-Rs are not sold on the market.

The EX is the top of the line model in the Hondas. Your side mirrors and door handles match the color of your car and the car also comes with a moon roof.

On the Civics...unless it changed for the 05s-present, leather seats are not an option. I have an 04 Civic EX.

My other Civic was a DX...that's the lowest model. Your door handles and side mirrors are plastic and black...they do not match the color of your car.

The LX is much like the EX except you don't get the moonroof...and the tires are smaller.

As you probably know, the EX is the top of the line for Hondas. It has the most options as standard. I think the R in EX-R stands for "racing." It should have an upgraded (more horsepower) engine and perhaps some ground effects to make it look sportier. Hope this helps.
