I hope you read this, i've reaserched that question myself and come up with a few different things that lead to the same answer
According to a book I read, two things stand out to me as being great help. 1 "Logic cannot change an emotion, actions will" If you sit there and think about different things, it wont help, you must use your body to change your emotion. Run is an example. 2 "98% of the way you feel is determined by the way you tell yourself you are going to feel" So, you must lie to yourself and tell yourself I'm having a good day over and over..
Hope it helped.. Alex

I agree with the first poster - laughter is usually the best medicine, as they say.
I usually retreat to music, though. Music and a good book. Usually something light, like Harry Potter, or something.
It's better than drinking your sorrows away, anyway.

Get out into the sunshine. It has been sunny the last week where I live and I have gotten out into the sunshine each one of those days and my winter blues have all but disappeared.

i keep a couple funny memories or stories in my memory bank to refer to when I need a quick "pick me up".... you know those stories or things that someone said that still makes you laugh when you think about it....
or anything that can get you to laugh... laughing is great medicine.

think of happy memories. it helps. :)
i just read a passage about internal dialogues inside us. We talk to ourselves everyday, and what we talk to ourselves about affect the way we think. So, always be happy and tell yourself positive things and compliment yourself. :) god bless!
