I have converted youtibe.com videos to MPEG4s with Divx. They play on my Windows on one computer that has Divx, but not on another that does not have Divx software. That's cool, but now I would like to burn them onto a DVD so that I could play it on a regular DVD player. I have Roxio DVD burner. Will it create a DVD that I can play on a DVD player?

That's going to depend more on your DVD player than your DVD burner. Old DVD players can't handle anything but single-layer DVDs. Newer players added CD playback, DVD-R(W) and DVD+R(W) playback, DVD-RAM playback, and various different audio/video codecs that weren't covered by the original DVD format.

I'd suggest looking up the manufacturer's specs on your DVD player to see if it mentions anything about supported formats. If that doesn't help, try burning a disc and see if it'll play. Regardless, on a guess, you'll probably have more luck with DVD recorders than with playback-only models, since they'll already have the ability to read recordable/rewriteable DVDs built in.
