Don't do it!!

lol jk.

If he's ever asked you, then you let him know. That's the perfect time. Don't do it in front of everyone, just at a chill time when you are hanging out.

And if he's your "best" friend, there's a good chance that he may already have suspicions about your homosexuality (if you have feminine-tendencies, for example) and doesn't give a snowball's chance in Hell about your sexuality.

AND if that is the case, you already know he is straight so respect that and don't try to cross that line; it will ruin a good friendship.

I understand your concern. I'm bisexual, and I had a heck of a time telling all of my friends that. Only 1 doesn't like it, but still talks to me. If your unsure if you should tell him ask him waht his opinion is on homosexual people. Calmy tell him, too. And if he rejects you completely, then he wasn't your friend to begin with. And if that happens, you just earned a friend ^_^

There's a good chance your friend already knows. I've found that to be true with my gay friends. Some of them didn't come out for years but we knew. I doubt a good friend will be shocked but occasionally some guys freak. Girls don't usually. Be calm and matter of fact and talk to your friend. There may be a situation where it comes up perfectly naturally in conversation like when you see a movie or TV show with gay characters or when you see someone on the street. Just watch for something that brings it to mind easily.

i am sure if u just tell him it will be alright, because it is your best friend we're talking about, he obviously will accept that.

just be straight and tell him and hopes that he accepts you for what you are and that he will still be your friend, it might be a good idea to also tell him that he has nothing to be worried about and that you won't be coming on to him(unless he wants you to)
