I am on the second level of the sims where you have to move out with one of your roomates' friends at a party, I have thrown parties at different times and tried everything and can't pass that.....any suggestions or does anyone know how to do this???

Be sure that everyone is a "friend" first then when they are there you have to make sure they are all happy the whole time plenty of food and music, no arguing everybody has to like everybody else. It's actually pretty tough to be the perfect host.

Before the game starts u can enter a cheat code by pressing r1 r2 l1 and l2 all at the same time enter freeall, party m, sims or look it up on a cheat website if u don't know the cheats. Then by a hot tub, stereo, cook some food and make sure Everyone is ur friend and buy anything u think can be used for the party especially the bug zapper
