Their entire agenda is meant to function on a war-footing. They can then be more secret and assume greater power in the name of national security, as well as push through their neo-feudal corportatist agenda with a compliant congress that do not want to be seen as impeding the commander in chief. It is an old strategy and it was quite effective pre-internet. Too bad Al Gore came around and ruined their plans by inventing it, aye?

Anyway, they already have two hot wars going on, they probably will not start another one. They don't really need to. But they have to hype the threat now so they can then goad the Democrats into denouncing Iran in 08', which will then make the Republicans seem precient for their present day stance on Iran, thus reinforcing (through shameless manipulation and subterfuge) the COMPLETELY false notion that Republicans are strong on defense. Strong on defense, my ***, they can't even defeat Iraq! It's all about 08', baby.

Too bad they will STILL lose. Yeah, Bush was a real stinker that will linger for few decades without some heavy interventions by the voting maching companies, which may be what happens. We'll see.

Well Iran made the mistake of fighting Iraq while the US was aiding Iraq with military gear and advice.

Well however ignorant that guy is that is amazed of all the ignorance here is right in a way. Their affairs in the middle east are for American interests only. The Republicans don't give a rat's fart about the people there or the spreading of democracy.

Gourdhead -- I don't want anyone to have nuclear capabilities especially a paranoid country likt the USA!

Its a popular trait of warmongerers. American influence arent strong in countries that it wages war on. Example, Iraq and Afghanistan. North Korea has been more of a threat to the Americans then the Mujahideens in Afghanistan or Iraq, yet its still open for business and no American Military has dropped a single bomb on it.

Becuase unlike France and Britain, Iran totally wants to Nuke the U.S. and Israel. It will be the first thing they do as soon as they can do it. Those people are angry and violent, and they scare me.

Obviously you slept through History Class or maybe you just flunked.
It is the sworn duty of the President to protect us from all enemies forgen and domestic.WW1 Wilson told us we needed to make the world safe for democgracy and to defete agressors before they invade our shores. He was a Democrat. WWII the allies sent troups into to Iran to keep it from joining the axis powers. (Nazi Germany.Imperial Japan, and Facist Italy.)
Roosevelt was a Democrat. Viet nam was Kennedy's war (he was a democrate) the Pope asked him to rescue the Catholic converts when France pulled out of there after almost a hundred years. Korea (a police action) Trumans war ,a democrate, interfeered with a civil war.The United Nations was throwing out an agressor. Lily Livered Clinton apeased our enemies and sold us out to 911 (gave North Korea and Red China advanced tech. and started an Nukeular amrs race in Aisa between Pacastan and India.
Nixon got us out of Viet Nam, Reagan won the Cold War.(Republicans)
If the UN would have let us finish Desert Storm we wouldn't be in this mess. Clinton was a suck up and didn't want a war on his watch.
It took 12 years for wepons inspections?!!!!!!!
The wepons of mass distruction are the Mula's who indoctrnated children with false teaching.
No one want's war and keeping America Free from a dictator like Sadam should be the goal of Any President.
Iran is training terroists to attack and they didn' t need Nukes on 911.
If you learned to read in school it's about time you brushed up on the facts.
I grew up with people who had Nazi tatoos on there arms.

Maybe I'm showing my age a bit, but do people seem to forget when Iran took control of our embassy and held people hostage for over a year? That was an attack on the US (embassies are considered foreign soil) that got resolved under Reagan.

Is this the type of government you want to have nuclear technology?

Not me...

I think Bush likes the idea of being in "power". And he likes to show it- by sending our guys off to other countries to "prove" how strong "he" is. Of course- othe countries don't LIKE to get bullied like this- so they shoot our guys, and want to build nukes to drive us off. So you're right; Bush is a troublemaker.

but they told him that Jeb would make a better President.
And because of that, he lost focus on Bin Laden.
