Good thought.
In China - you can only have one kid. And I think the people there take their parenting more seriously - for just that reason.
To me - marriage is a commitment for THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. And so - I've never done it. I'm 50. My philosophy is that *maybe* - I'll get married at about 70 or so. 'Cause at that point - the rest of my life won't seem so long.
When I meet or hear of people who have been married 40, 50, or even 70 years - I am in awe.

I believe that your on to something. Maybe instead of a limit, there should be more qualifiying things people must do before being allowed to marry.

Yeah, rite. Then there should be a limit to alot more important stuff in life like having babies and getting different jobs and how much junk food we eat in a month. Freedom baby, freedom.

Maybe impose a fee for people each time they get married. Perhaps a high enough one where they'll think carefully about it beforehand.
