Your pastor or your church has nothing to do with your relationship with God (Jesus). If they are against GLBT, go to other church. I heard that there are some Catholic churches that are accepting GLBT, Episcopal for example.
I go to Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) and they are welcoming GLBT.
Please be sure that Jesus is always on your side, He welcomes all, and never against GLBT.

Catholics are not that bad. It depends on the priest in your parish. The priest in my parish let my girlfriend and i baptize our goddaughter together knowing that we were a couple. We had to go to a counsel meeting first and we had to agree that we would not call her her godparents. we have to separate it by saying that we are her godmothers. As a whole maybe the catholic religion may have messed up views but what should matter is what kind of views you are directly affected by. I am not at church every time the door opens, don't get my wrong. I hope i havent offended you.
Actually every religion is going to say that it is wrong for whatever reason but you have to go by your own convictions

I am still Catholic. It's the only religion I know, and change can only happen if people within the religion help it change

i went to a catholic school but that doesnt mean it was my old religion, nowadays i use to get very angry when someone mentions my school, but when i am with my mother i refrain myself, after all she thought it was the best school for me. I think she gets a bit sad when i refer to my episodes at that school, anyway part of my hate for priests come from that days...well hate it is too much but i really think they look like cockroaches and they are cockroaches
