I just got implants 4 days ago. I know that they are swollen now but they are hard as rocks. I got silicone implants so they would feel more natural. But how they feel now I can't imagine them being soft. Do they usually feel like little bowling balls? My husband isn't going to want to play with these. Please ease my mind that they will feel significantly different. PLEASE

Yes, they will most certainly soften up and begin to feel more real in time. The reason why they feel this way actually has nothing to do with the silicone in the implant. The tissues in the surrounding area, the ones that are holding the implants in place, are very tender and swollen right now. The expansion of the surrounding tissues, as well as the tissues of the chest wall are pressing up against the implants. the impants, since they are soft, are giving way and being pressed up towards your skin, giving them the impression of being "bowling balls". Once the tissue goes back to normal the implants will recess back into their cavities and feel natural and normal to you.

haha yes, rest assured there will be a very significant difference after healing! :) not only will they "soften up" but they will also drop some. if you're anything like i was, i'm assuming they're also up to your chin at the moment... but yes they will soften up, drop some, and look and feel a lot more natural than just 4 days after surgery.. give it at least a good two weeks.

Yes, mine did the same thing...Did your Doctor tell you to massage them..yes i know it will be tender but i was told to massage them so that the tissue didn't stick and the pocket for the implant will heal...try putting ice packs it will be cold but help full good luck you will be glad you did it soon....
