The product will be DEAD most of the times, with the given reactants.Still, there definetly is the possibility of the offspring surviving.

In fact i am quite sure that someone curious enough had already tried this IN REAL LIFE. it would be easier if pregnancy is left to the ANIMAL female

Anyways, such cross species offsprings are not as uncommon as we might think. We all know that the MULE is a hybrid of a female horse and a male donkey.. There are more...

ZORSE - A zorse is the offspring of a zebra stallion and a horse mare. There's even a ZEEDONK - its a mix of.... well, u guessed it right :)

Im not kidding, but i think there are ZONYS, ZONKEYS and ZEBRASS too :o CRAZY !

And then we have LIGER - a hybrid cross between a male Panthera leo (lion), and a female Panthera tigris (Tiger).

-
So, bottom line is that such cross species hybrids, although nor readily compatible, are NOT totally incompatible either.

What i dont know is if the genetic closeness/similarity between apes and humans is comparable to the closeness/similarity between horses & donkeys or lions & tigers.

And all the hybrids mentioned above are relatively 'natural'. In the sense, at least entire animals are involved, but with modern boitechology, 'slicing n dicing' DNAs is fast becoming a reality and MUCH MUCH crazier 'creations' are possible. But with this kinda 'creations' hundreds of disfunctioning 'products' may die before a 'good-one comes up

A sore, pissed of female gorilla.

Human males have the largest penises in the primate family. They'd be bigger, but they have to fit inside a woman without causing increased rates of dangerous bacterial infections. The result is that most of us are between five and six inches.

A gorilla penis is between three quarters to an inch long. A chimp has maybe twice that much. Different psychologies, reproductive strategies and postures make for different anatomy.

Humans are not capable of reproducing with any existing primate. The chromosomes don't mesh together.

Believe me someone would have found that out by now if we could. People will screw just about anything if they think they can get away with it.

Two animals are considered to be part of the same species if they can procreate and produce a completely viable offspring (a horses and donkey produce an offspring that is infertile, so that doesn't qualify).

A mating between a human and any other primate will not produce an offspring. Not even an infertile one.

But on a less serious note, I'd have to guess that Labsci is right, the female guerilla will be left unsatisfied, so she'll rip the guy's arms off and them beat him with them.

Nothing, but he will be laughed at for the rest of his life.

Scientists are more likely to use artificial insemination in these situations. But the chromosomes are too different for fertilization to occur, even if the sperm survives the journey without being attacked and destroyed as a foreign antigen.

He should be arrested if he is still alive.
Now if a chimpanzee and a human try reproduction?????
Chimpanzees and humans have the same basic genes. The number of chromosomes is different, but that hasn't stopped mules.
I would really like to see what would come of such a union, but I'm sure society would resist such an experiment.
I think it's possible that there could be viable offspring.
Please - someone do it!
