I am thinking of buying Knights of the Old Republic II but not if there's no dismemberment when you hit somebody with your light sabre. To me that's the whole point of the weapon and seeing it glance off in some of the earlier games bugged me. So, has anybody bought it and could please tell me?

Well, you're going to be sorely disappointed. No limb removal here. Oh, and the game itself is a minor disappointment, especially near the end, when the rush job becomes apparent.

What a moronic criteria for buying a game! Both of the KOTOR games are absolutely amazing games, and to write them off because of something so simplistic and irrelevant is truly ignorant.

If it really bothers you, buy Jedi Academy. Every once in awhile you might chop of a limb or two. It's still a great game, though, so when you don't hit the bad guy's arm just right and it doesn't fall off, maybe you should stick around and actually enjoy THE GAME.

Uh, yeah, no live dismemberment. That might put it into the AO for violence rating and then it would never sell.

It's still the same D & D set-up for fighting as it was before. Sorry.
