i feel that people are getting sick of me listening to ABBA like 24/7...............can someone listen to a band/group/singer too much? Or are these people just complaining because they want me to listen to something different because they don't like what i'm listening to?

both, you can really irritate people that way especially if you are listening to ABBA, but it will get to you eventually to, and a band that you absolutely love will make you cringe every time you think about listening to it, don't burn yourself out, take a break and listen to something else then come back to it before it's too late

I think the people probably just aren't as fanatic about ABBA as you are. I've listened to a lot of stuff non-stop, esp. ABBA, & I've never got burned out on it. Though stuff that I'm not completely in love with does get old after a while & I'll have to take a pretty long break from it before I can listen to it again.

I don't think there's anything wrong with liking a band and listening to their music a lot, but I question your judgement when that band is ABBA...

Actually it is unhealthy to listen to a certain band so much, usually you'll get sick of them and stop listening after a while. It becomes like when you hear your favourite song you get a headache or you don't really hear it cos you know it so well.

i have a friend who went through a pink floyd phase. he just over did it.... too much of a good thing can be bad. it can annoy other people around you who might not want ABBA on all the time... but its your personal choice so that is also to be taken into consideration! however, variety is the spice of life!

No,you can never listen to a band/singer too much.People complain because they don't like your bands as much as you do and they would prefer to listen to something else.I listen to Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson constantly. You can never listen to the same artist too much!!!! :)

if your a big enough of fan or if the musican has a big influence on you then no, i feel like you can't listen to one musican too much. just make sure that's not the only music you listen to. if its the only then yea that's excessive.
